Hi Naomi, nice post and excellent blog.

"伊" is not commonly used in Mandarin Chinese. Using it as a 3rd person pronoun is quite archaic...

Its commonly used in Min-nan and Shanghai tongues though

You might want to add "它" which is 3rd person pronoun for inanimate objects
